Yes, our logs are designed for safe use, as long as the instructions are followed.
Do your logs burn completely?
They are designed to burn efficiently and be mostly consumed.
What surface should the log go on?
First, outdoor use only. Place it on a stable, non-combustible surface away from anything flammable: a concrete slab, a large pizza pan, sand or gravel.
How should the log be stored before use?
Store the log away from the weather and the sun. Keep it in its plastic bag, ideally in a basement or garage. A change in humidity can affect its burn time.
How do I put out the log?
Fill it with sand (which makes relighting easier) or douse it with water (it can be relit two weeks later).
Can it be used more than once?
If it hasn’t burned too far, fill it with sand. Next time, empty out the sand and relight it!
Any tips for enjoying your logs?
Ideally, wait for dusk or nightfall to light your log. The glow and warmth create a unique atmosphere, perfect for conversation around the fire.
